The Prime Minister said he will appoint the Opposition Leader to a senior minister’s role, to offer a balance in the Parliament.  a Supply Bill will also be presented to the Parliament to limit the prime minister’s term, should he receive support from the Opposition parties. Moreover, GE15 will be held latest by July 2022.

The propositions were announced after Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin reported he has lost the majority of support and has thus pleaded for bipartisan support from the rival members of the Parliament as to "ensure the current government to continue to manage the pandemic until it is time for elections."
