Datuk Ameer Ali Mydin's recent interview is getting a lot of heat from the public.
The Mydin CEO recently sat down with Astro Awani, where he spoke about the huge losses the enterprise is set to bear due to the four-day Hari Raya leave granted by the government.
He quipped that the additional public holiday will incur at least a RM500,000 loss, which should have gone towards Menu Rahmah instead.
His remarks apparently didn't sit well with netizens. Over on Twitter, comments flooded the page expressing anger towards him.
Some have called out Datuk Ameer for refusing to pay OT, when in fact Mydin has gained an undisclosed amount of profits. Some also said that he's not seeing the news in a greater picture.
