Malaysia has become a popular destination for motorcycle and car enthusiasts to gather and embark on convoys, not only among locals but also among neighbouring countries.
Recently, MotoMalaya's Facebook admin shared a picture where a rider from Thailand was seen refuelling his motorcycle with RON 97 fuel.
"I encountered 20 riders from Thailand refuelling at the Tapah rest stop. They all used RON 97. Singaporeans can learn from them," quoted the post from MotoMalaya's Facebook page.
Netizens warmly welcomed the post and praised the convoy group for showing respect and not misusing Malaysia's subsidized petrol, as some Singaporeans have been known to do when entering the country.
Despite authorities enforcing laws and petrol station owners displaying warning notices that the fuel is specifically for Malaysian citizens only, there are still many Singaporeans who disregard these simple instructions.
