Recently, there have been reports of individuals attempting to smuggle drugs by concealing them in their rectums.
However, in this unusual case, a woman took extreme measures to smuggle 15 live snakes, four giant centipedes, and a lizard from Hong Kong to Mainland China.
According to reports, the woman is a pet shop owner who had drawn the attention of customs officials due to her nervous behaviour and oversized clothing. Upon conducting a body search, customs officials discovered that she had hidden the reptiles, including some poisonous ones, in her bra and pockets with the intention of selling them at her store.
Among the reptiles she attempted to smuggle were 9 king snakes, 6 hog-nosed snakes, 4 Peruvian giant centipedes, and an Anolis genus lizard, all of which are considered exotic species. During the investigation, the woman admitted to successfully smuggling these reptiles in the past and profiting substantially by selling them at high prices to customers.
