A shocking incident unfolded on the streets of Kuala Lumpur, capturing the attention of netizens after a video posted on a local Facebook group went viral. The footage, taken from a dashcam, showcases a proud SUV owner taking his brand-new vehicle out for its first drive, only for his joyride to come to an abrupt end at a Gombak toll booth.

According to China Press, the SUV had just been picked up from the showroom when disaster struck. As the driver was slowing down to pass through the toll, a speeding black sedan barreled into the back of his vehicle. The collision, caught on video, shows the sedan approaching the toll at high speed, unable to stop in time, slamming into the rear of the SUV and sending it skidding out of control through the booth.

The crash left both cars severely damaged, with the SUV bearing the brunt of the impact. Its rear was crumpled, while the sedan's front end was crushed. Early assessments suggest the SUV could be declared a total loss, meaning it may be scrapped entirely due to the extent of the damage.
