Do you know that cloth face mask could soon be a thing of the past?
LG Electronics (LG) is going to unveil the Puricare™ Wearable Air Purifier at IFA2020, a consumer electronics and home appliance trade show that
typically takes place in Berlin every year.
It utilizes two H13 HEPA filters, which is similar to the filters used in LG's home air purifier products.

Here are some of the features of the Puricare™ Wearable Air Purifier:
1. Dual Fans and patented Respiratory Sensor to allow users to take in clean, filtered air
2. Respiratory Sensor to detect the cycle and volume of the wearer’s breath and adjusts the dual three-speed fans accordingly, speeding up to assist air intake and slowing down to reduce resistance when exhaling to make breathing easier.

According to LG, the mask is ergonomically designed
to minimize air leakage around the nose and chin. It is also powered by 820mAh battery that last for 8 hours in low mode and 2 hours in high mode. The PuriCare™ Wearable Air Purifier also comes with a charging case that is equipped with UV-LED lights that kills harmful germs. On top of that, all of the components of the mask is replaceable and recyclable!
