The legendary former football player turned fashion icon David Beckham has revealed his newest eyewear collection including the Limited-Edition DB 7000/S Bold Sunglasses, in collaboration with Safilo, which signals their fourth venture together.  

This new collection is best described as both stylish and bold yet remains true to its classic aesthetic. It takes inspiration from iconic movies filmed in Italy and the global icons, both past, and present. Taking seasonal inspiration from cities that have influenced Beckham, this collection focuses on Italy and captures the feeling and scenery with a series of images portraying a carefree holiday spirit.

The collection continues to present both sunglasses and optical frames made for individuals with a taste for style, but also for those passionate about vintage accessories that are contemporary with a hint of retro.

These numbered Limited-Edition sunglasses celebrate the most iconic style of the SS22 collection with a new interpretation of the iconic DB 7000/S, David's go-to style & the one featured in the first-ever campaign. The squared-shaped style characterized by bold volumes is revisited and realized an in premium horn effect acetate and assures a premium quality vision thanks to Zeiss lenses.

The distinctive signature shape includes the Talisman detail in metal, discretely visible between the front and the temples, and the Limited edition by David Beckham script in the internal part of the temples. Originally drawing inspiration from the wings of a bird, the mark symbolizes power, protection, and freedom. These wings have evolved into a distinct angular shape that features on every piece in the collection.
