A regular Malaysian man from Segambut, Kuala Lumpur went viral on TikTok after his act of kindness was caught on camera.
In a video that has garnered over 90K views and 11K likes, Mohd Faithal Abu Samah can be seen conversing with a young J&T worker before retrieving back into his house. A while later, he walks about with a pair of shoes in his hand and hands it over to the young man.
According to the video, the J&T worker has made a regular appearance around the neighborhood, and he has always been remembered as a kind and diligent worker who wouldn't mind waiting around for his customers. Mohd Faithal noticed that he'd always worn the same old, battered shoes and figured he needed a new one.
"His face lit up as he was so excited to get the shoes and said that he would even use it for his outings with friends.", Mohd Faithal recalled. "I also believe that one doesn't need to be rich to help those around them and to help in whatever way possible."
