It's a story of taking the "two is better than one" saying to a whole new level. As Malaysians, we understand that polygamy is only permitted amongst the Muslim community in our country. However, it's surprising when news emerges of a man in Kuching celebrating his union with not one but two women, making them his wives simultaneously. This has led many to question the legality of such arrangements within the non-Muslim community.

Speculation suggests that perhaps the trio hosted a wedding banquet to celebrate their union without officially registering their marriage, treating it as a symbolic gesture of togetherness. The man who runs a noodle stall in Kuching held his extravagant wedding banquet for two wives at a local restaurant, which caused quite a stir. Reports indicate that both wives, one Chinese and the other possibly Indonesian, are now pregnant.

Only monogamous marriages are recognized, allowing one husband and one wife.
