According to the Ministry of Health, out of the 50,000 migrants that the MOH had screened. 2,470 tested positive, 47,000 tested negative, and the other cases are the pending cases.
The overcrowded groups are also recognised as the cause of infection among migrants as they are living under unsanitary conditions. The number of infected migrants grew drastically after the authorities began arresting migrants residing in areas under total lockdown.
