The best weight loss spot for you is at the grocery store! Because, fitness starts from what you decide to put in your mouth. Here are 5 hacks that your gym instructor wish you never knew.
1- Label check!

This works like magic for most processed food.
When you head to the aisles to buy an item, choose top three brands within your budget. Turn to the nutrition facts label and look for the one with:
-lowest sugar
-highest fibre
-highest protein
The one that check all three boxes goes home with you.
2- Shop around the shop

On your next shopping trip, buy more items from the perimeter of the store. There's where you'll find whole foods like meat, fish, fruits, veggie, bread & dairy.
Buy less of the items from the middle aisles. In fact, try this rule: only get items with five ingredients or less. You won't be spending anymore on fatty foods like candies, chocolates, chips & cookies.
3- Look for body parts

Not actual ones! I meant nutritious foods that look like body parts & help you slim down.
Maybe that's why they are called superfoods. Here's a bunch:
- sweet potato
- carrot
- avocado
-walnut
- celery
- banana
- grapes
- broccoli
- olive
- tomato
-strawberry
While you shop, have fun guessing which body part do they look like.
4- Low GI food

GI stands for glycemic index. It tells you how fast the carbs in foods are broken down by your body.
The lower the index, the less it affects your glucose levels. Buy items with low GI (20 -49) when shopping like ones on this list. So, you will feel full for a longer time.
5-Don't skip frozen produce

When it comes to veggie & fruits, you might only go for the ones fresh from the farm. They are great.
But, frozen ones are equally good and last longer too. So, look for ones without any additives, especially with labels like 'plant-based', 'organic', or 'natural'. Stock up on items that are 100% fruits & veggie only.
