PDRM will identify and take action against those who attended the 'Keluar dan #Lawan' protest on Saturday (July 31).
This comes after suspicions of breaching the MCO SOPs by the protesters.
According to Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Zainal Abdullah, the nation is still under the Movement Control Order.
Therefore, no public assemblies are allowed. That includes sports, religious, and social gatherings.
It's estimated that around 400 people joined in to demand Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin to resign.
After one long hour sit-in outside of Dataran Merdeka, the police ordered for the crowd to disperse. The 2-hour protest ended at 12.53 p.m.
While there were a few provocation attempts here and there, the situation remained under control & all was safe!
