JK's heading to Qatar!
Based on reports, Jung-Kook of South Korean boy band BTS, has been announced to perform at the opening ceremony of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The announcement came from a tweet by the group's official Twitter account.

BTS stated a hiatus on October 17th this year, to fulfil their mandatory military service, whilst working on solo projects (read here).
Since then, other members like J-Hope and Jin have dropped solos, with RM's album 'Indigo' being next in line (December 2nd).
On November 20th the tournament will launch with Qatar against Ecuador. A total of 32 teams from different countries would participate, with the winning team crowned on December 18th.
