Disgruntled by a noise emitted from a car accessory shop, a father-son duo decided to take matters into their own hands during a heated confrontation.
The incident, which took place at a neighbourhood in Sibu, saw the elderly man wielding a meat cleaver as he swung the weapon in front of the shops staffers. His son was also present, with both getting riled up over the noise disturbance.
They were eventually arrested by the police following the threatening act, and a probe is under way.
Seeing the news, the public has since voiced their understanding on the duo’s anger, which might have escalated due to the shop turning a blind eye towards their previous complaints.
However, it’s also agreeable that wielding such a dangerous weapon should not have been the last resort to get their voices heard.
