A video of a 12-year-old boy tirelessly caring for his bedridden mother at a hospital in the East Coast has recently gone viral.
Norasni Mohd Noor, 39, a housewife, shared the footage on TikTok to encourage others to value and care for their parents.
“Caring for a sick person is no easy task, but this boy has managed it remarkably well”, Norasni a media outlet.
“I was deeply moved by Iman. He’s far more mature than other kids his age, He does everything changing diapers, cleaning his mother, feeding her.” she said.
Norasni also highlighted Iman’s respectful demeanor. He’s polite and well-mannered, especially toward elders.
Recalling one particularly hot day, she said, “The weather was so warm that everyone in the ward was sweating. Iman immediately wet a cloth and wiped his mother’s body to cool her down.
“Throughout their five-day stay at the hospital, Iman remained dedicated. He prioritized his mother in every situation. He ate and slept on the floor without a single complaint”.
When asked about Iman’s background, Norasni revealed that he was raised by his single mother.
“Iman is an only child, and his mother has been raising him alone. However, I did see some relatives visiting her. Thankfully, they still care”, she said.
