Suhadah's (@suhadah.99) TikTok post recently went viral, documenting a tense moment outside her home in Taman Rinting, Johor Bahru.
The video shows a man violently swinging a baton and generating a scene after being confronted for revving his automobile engine and making noise around midnight in a residential neighbourhood.
Suhadah claimed that the man reacted angrily after being reprimended by her father for the disruption.
"He became violent, swung his baton, and struck my father's hand. "He even threatened to return with reinforcements and weapons," she said.
The attack left her father with a swollen hand.
"I want him to learn to respect elders, not assault them at will!" Suhadah mentioned in another post.
Her father has subsequently filed a police case, and the family is waiting for more updates from the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) on the occurrence.
In the video's comments area, netizens shared their concerns about the man's violent actions and threats.
