Reported by Sinchew Daily, a woman in China checked out of a hotel with not just her personal belongings but even the hotel’s belongings such as a Dyson hairdryer, drinks from the mini bar and a coffee machine!
She claims; “I thought they were complimentary!”
The story was shared by a hotel staff on Facebook and has now gone viral.
According to the post, the woman cleared out the minibar, including several expensive drinks worth thousands of Yuan.
In a WeChat conversation with the woman, after being questioned on the high charges to her room, she admits that she took it all home with her.
Netizens are in disbelief upon hearing of this situation.
Some even joked saying “Does she think the mattresses and pillows are free too?”
However, there were a few comments who believe that it was an honest mistake on the woman’s end.
