A 19-year-old Malaysian man tragically fell to his death from the 12th floor of an apartment building in Kajang, Selangor, yesterday afternoon. The incident was reported to the police at 12:34 PM, and investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the fall.
According to an official statement from the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), the young man was found on the ground floor after falling from the 12th floor of the apartment. CCTV footage reviewed by the authorities showed the deceased in the elevator prior to the fall. He appeared intoxicated, vomiting repeatedly, and seemed to be in an unconscious state.
The deceased, who was reportedly known in the area as a "wealthy kid," arrived at the apartment's indoor parking lot driving a black Mercedes-Benz SUV. He later fell to his death, with no immediate signs of foul play identified at the scene.
The man's family, who arrived at the location following the incident, informed the police that he had no financial troubles, mental health issues, or relationship disputes with his girlfriend. These assertions have left investigators questioning the series of events leading up to the fall.
While examining the deceased's vehicle, the police discovered a bag containing a semi-automatic pistol, an empty magazine, and two bullets. The firearm's origin remains unclear, and the authorities are working to trace its source. The case is being investigated under Section 8 of the Arms (Increased Penalties) Act 1971.
