A woman in Indonesia had commited an acid attack against her husband that resulted in permanent disability after discovering her husband's infidelity, as reported by Tribunnews.
The wife, Fitriyani, 41, was reported to have committed the act by spraying a mixture of vinegar and acid on her husband's face, which took place at their personal residence in Gudang Pupuk Dusun Lingga Kuamang, Bungo Regency in the Jambi region.
According to the police report, Fitriyani was angered upon learning that her husband was cheating on her with another woman.
When questioned by police, Fitriyani expressed she did not bear any regret for what she had done towards her husband. "Based on the doctor's examination, the victim suffered serious burns on his eyes and face," said Bungo District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner General, Guntur Saputro.
Two lessons to be learned here: a). Violence is never the answer, and b). stay faithful.
