Check out this viral video of a man confronting a woman who may be working for an "ah long" or unlicensed loan shark company. The incident happened after the man was seen burning leaflets that had been attached to motorbikes parked in the flat's parking lot.
The two-minute video shows the woman expressing her disappointment with the man's actions of burning the flyers that she had been distributing.
"I want to ask you, sir, is it right to collect these flyers without telling us and then burn them?" she asks.
However, the man responds by saying that he had every right to burn them since such service advertisements are illegal.

"Of course, I burned them. Why do you think we don't have money? If you take loans from ah longs, you'll only trouble others tomorrow," the man can be heard saying in the two-minute and 18-second video.
After some time, the woman eventually gives in and leaves the scene, and the argument comes to a close. The location of the incident is still unknown, but it is believed to have taken place in the northern region of the country based on their dialect.
It's not uncommon for Malaysians to borrow money from "ah longs" as a last resort, but this often ends up trapping them in debt and negatively affecting their families.
Kudos to the man for taking a stand against the unlicensed loan sharks who were soliciting business in his neighbourhood by putting an end to these illegal practices.
