PR damage much?
It seems that Starbucks is trying very hard to win customers amid the ongoing boycott, but its latest promo has proven to backfire so far.
For starters, the beverage chain was called out for featuring hijabi models to promote its Holidays seasonal beverages, drawing criticism for misaligning with the Muslim faith.
A commenter pointed out that the advert was “nasty” for not fronting non-Muslim models instead.
