Based on recent reports, Malaysia’s team for the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid-Season Cup has succeeded in bringing home gold!
The Selangor Red Giants beat the Falcons AP Bren, reigning MLBB world champions, during the grand finale at the Amazon Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with a score of 4-3.
The team was previously known as the Yoodoo Red Giants, and they had not made huge strides in esports scene, till their notable win in the MPL Malaysia.
This win brought the Selangor Red Giants not only the title, but also a whopping $1 million dollar cash prize.
Even PM Anwar congratulated the team, tweeting: “Heartfelt congratulations to the SRG team for bringing glory to Malaysia on the world stage”.
