A male student is reported to have lost his life after allegedly being involved in a hit-and-run incident with a car near the Jati Secondary School in Ipoh, Perak. The incident near the entrance of Jati Secondary School is said to have occurred around 12:30 noon, as the student was heading home after the end of the school day.
According to witnesses, the student parked on the side of the road, and unexpectedly, the husband of a school teacher made a sudden U-turn, speeding, and collided with the student. Witnesses claim that the husband either reversed and hit or ran over the student.
Shockingly, it is alleged that the husband, who is a cop, rolled down the window, arrogantly stating, "I can hit whoever I want, I'm a cop." Tragically, the victim, a 17-year-old child of the owner of a popular roti canai restaurant in the area, lost his life at the scene.
This reprehensible act by the perpetrator is seen as a deliberate and intentional act of murder.
As of the writing of this report, the police have not issued any statements regarding the incident.
