If you frequently travel on the North-South Expressway (PLUS) heading south, you've probably noticed that the Rest and Service Area (R&R) Seremban (southbound) has been closed for 2 years for renovation purposes. Recently, a TikTok user, Insan Zakir, shared a video showing the current condition of the reopened R&R Seremban to the public.
In the video, many praised the two-year closure as 'worth it' because the redesigned R&R Seremban is now more modern with spacious areas, more efficient ventilation, and equipped with giant fans that cool the entire area.
Additionally, the design of the surau (prayer room) and toilets at R&R Seremban also received widespread praise for adopting an open concept, allowing for better ventilation. This open concept indirectly prevents the surau from having odours, and users can use it more comfortably, with ample space for prayers and allowing natural light to fill the room.
At the same time, many also praised the facilities at the rest area for emphasising features friendly to persons with disabilities (OKU). Most importantly, besides having more comfortable and numerous seating areas, each seat is said to have an electrical outlet for users to charge their gadgets.
The video has garnered widespread attention, with many praising the new look and comfort of the rest area compared to before. Indirectly, many users are eagerly looking forward to stopping by there soon.
