ICYMI: WATCH: Man Attempts To Throw Himself Onto An Oncoming Car Was Captured On This Dashcam Video

A pau (buns filled with various fillings) trader in Johor has gone viral for his unique dance moves in a bid to attract customers.

Several videos posted on its TikTok account @paupremiumabangmanis showcase workers dishing out Zapin-inspired dance moves while entertaining people at several local night markets.

Pau Premium Abang Manis, which serves varieties of local pau, is now synonymous with its dances. Workers not only dance but also invite the public to join them and mimic the moves.

The creative marketing has resulted in more customers stopping, watching the dances, and purchasing the buns.

Netizens were quick to praise the traders while congratulating them for coming up with a unique sales concept.

A TikTok user, Kenet, said she would love to sell pau but would need her children to master dance moves to compete.

"I am selling pau, would it be okay for my kids to learn the dance move?" she asked, to which the trader replied, "Yes, Puan."

For Bear Buskers, he commented, "Wow, I need to dance before buying pau."

The video has also gone viral on Facebook after being shared by user Farid5words.

A user by the name of Nur Fara Wahidah Nasip commented that she would stop by and purchase the pau, even though she is an introvert. "I am entertained, thus I will buy. They (workers) make me happy."

Sanisah Geret commented, "May the hard work of the workers be rewarded. May their business be a success."

Another user, Rmi ST, praised them and said, "This is the best, may their rezeki (income) grow."

Abiwan Niaga reminded the workers to work hard while commenting that this is similar to how some traders attract their customers in Japan.

But not all were in favor of the trader's tactics, with Mohd Hafiz Sakri saying that honestly, he wouldn't stop to buy as he is shy. But he doesn't mean to humiliate them or mean any harm.

For Amen Khai, conducting business is good but one really doesn't need to resort to such tactics to attract attention.

He added that with hard work and prayers, a business can succeed.
