A woman who goes by @pawwover on TikTok has earned praises from netizens, after a video of her rescuing an injured stray dog made rounds on social media.
The dog was in need of medical attention after sustaining multiple injuries to its body, believed to have been caused by a hit-and-run.
Concerned of its wellbeing, the woman was contacted by a few people appealing for her help, considering her experience in rescuing dogs in the past.
Despite being afraid of the dog’s hostility at first, she came to realize that it only acted that way due to the pain.
Following a successful attempt in taking the dog to a vet, it’s now recuperating under further monitoring.
