US President Donald Trump on Tuesday (April 7) threatened to consider putting a hold on funding World Health Organization (WHO) and criticized it as being "China-centric".
When asked what he meant by "China-centric", Trump replied, "I don't know, they seem to come down on the side of China."
" 'Don't close your borders to China,' they don't report what's really going on. They didn't see it, and yet they were there, they didn't see what was going on in Wuhan. They didn't see it. How do you not see it? They didn't report it. They must have seen it, but they didn't report it," he said.
Trump did not give detail on how much money they will consider withholding, but he told the reporter that he was "going to put a very powerful hold on".
