An elderly woman with coronavirus breathed her last on the way to the hospital. Her grandson tried desperately to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on her, and it was a heartbreaking scene.

According to Sinchew, the incident happened in the parking lot of a hospital in Mexico. A man, aged about 30, took his Grandma to the hospital but found that his Grandma had stopped breathing when they arrived. Without thinking of the risk of infection, he immediately performed CPR on his grandma, hoping to save his Grandma's life.

The medical staff rushed to the scene immediately and confirmed that his Grandma had no signs of life. He cried in grief and hugged his grandmother who had passed away.

The heartbreaking shots were accidentally taken by a photographer Moises Pablo.  Netizens left messages on the photos to show support and encourage the man to stay strong.

The medical staff conducted a detailed examination for Grandma later, confirming that she died of Covid-19, but had no symptoms before.
