JPJ has announced that the BRA number plate series will be the next to be put up for auction on its online auction website, JPJ eBid. It will open for bidding from 29th June, this Wednesday, until 3 July 2022 at 10pm.
The bidding results will be announced on the following day after the final date, in this case, July 4, 2022.
Here's how you can take part in the bidding for the BRA number plate:
Step 1: Go to the website and register.
Step 2: Log in using your IC number as your ID and you'll be able to see the number plate series that are currently open for bidding.
Step 3: Make your bids!
On the JPJeBid website, you'll find that the number plate series is divided into 4 categories, Golden, Attractive, Popular and Running. Here are the minimum bids for each category:
· Golden - RM20,000, with a minimum incremental bid of RM1,000
· Attractive - RM3,000 and a minimum bid increment is RM150
· Popular - RM800, with a minimum bid increment of RM40
· Running - RM300 with a minimum incremental bid of RM15
