No matter what competition or lucky draw where a prize is at stake, participants are expected to follow the rules laid out by the organizers. For example, in a lucky draw, organizers typically announce the winning number multiple times, and if the winner doesn't come forward, they have every right to draw a new number.
Unfortunately, a woman at a carnival in Penang turned what should have been a fun event into chaos during a lucky draw competition. The grand prize was a luxurious BMW F30, but a commotion ensued because she was late to acknowledge her victory, resulting in her missing the chance to claim the special prize.
@hang.pi.mana Kalau dah memang rezeki orang lain, terima jelaa kak oiii #Choii #farisazri original sound - tak pi mana pun
Undeterred, the woman took to the stage, seemingly requesting the organizers to reconsider and reopen the opportunity for her. However, her plea was rejected. Despite multiple announcements by the carnival hosts that her participation was cancelled due to unsuccessful attempts to reach her, the woman persisted in protesting on stage. Several Rela members even attempted to escort her away.
In an attempt to diffuse the situation, the carnival organizers offered a consolation prize of RM1000 to the woman. However, it was revealed that she had also violated the lucky draw rules, as business vendors were not allowed to participate.
The organizers aimed to maintain fairness for all participants but faced with criticism regarding the established rules, they uploaded another video to address the tension and express their regret.
