A PDRM officer in charge of crowd control at an anti-genocide rally yesterday has been accused of making a lewd gesture.
His indecent act was quickly shared on social platform X, which led to an uproar by the public. A full context behind his motive has yet to be disclosed.
According to an Instagram story shared by an activist, the group known as Himpunan Advokasi Rakyat Malaysia (HARAM) had organized the peaceful assembly to condemn the ongoing oppression happening in Palestine, Lebanon and Yemen.
The rally took place in front of the US Embassy, where ralliers noted that the said officer had directed the gesture towards them.
The shocking incident has been slammed by social media users, with many urging PDRM to investigate the matter considering their integrity has been marred by the officer’s inappropriate display.
