Eat, Slay, Pray!
Many mosques are now coming up with creative approaches to encourage youngsters to the right teachings of Islam.
During the last 10 nights of Ramadhan especially, Muslims are encouraged to go to the mosque to pray terawih, and embrace communal worship.
One such case of encouraging the spirit was brilliantly done by a mosque in Singapore, whereby a TikTok trend surprisingly played a huge part in it.
In a video shared by the mosque’s official TikTok page, committees of Masjid Darul Ghufran recently participated in the Gen Z script trend, which sparked hilarious reactions from viewers.
The committees’ willingness to join in on the trend has been lauded, partly because they showed sheer dedication in conveying the message- but in a fun, lighthearted way that is!
