A pub manager, who was already in huge debt, allegedly committed suicide after being scammed. He was found dead on the ground floor of the apartment where he jumped off from.
The victim, aged 28, left a note for his family and friends. According to Sin Chew Daily, the victim planned to pay off his original debt by borrowing money, but it turned out he was scammed. Thinking himself a huge disappointment, he apologized to his family and friends before ending his life.
“Dad and mom, I’m sorry. I’m such a failure,” he wrote in his last note, “I’ll be your son again in next life.”
