His wife, Abby Coleman filed a police report after Morgan and their children, three-year old son Kaleo and ten-month-old daughter Roxy went missing for more than 24 hours. Initially, the wife did not suspect he'd ever harm their children as Morgan never showed any prior indication of violence.

However, when Morgan was arrested at the borders without his children present, the US authorities alerted the Mexico police and soon enough, they've received a report that two bodies of children were found at a farm with multiple stab wounds. Upon inspection, it was indeed the Coleman's children. The boy had been stabbed 17 times and the girl was stabbed 12 times— a gruesome murder. In short, Morgan had allegedly murdered his infants then dumped their bodies at a farm before returning back to the States.

According to the reports, Morgan had allegedly told the FBI agents that he "believed his children were going to grow into monsters so he had to kill them," and he also allegedly mentioned his wife "possessed serpent DNA and had passed it onto his children".

As of now, the suspect is currently under federal custody and investigation is still ongoing.
