Based on reports, around 10.52am this morning (Feb 27th), a family of four was pronounced dead on the scene of a car crash.
The accident which involved two vehicles (a Hyundai Starex MPV and a Toyota Hilux 4WD) happened on the Sultan Iskandar highway in Kuala Lumpur, at about 10.40am.
Investigations noted that the Toyota Hilux lost control, rammed into the MPV and crushed it. The Fire and Rescue Department Operations Center (JBPM) announced then receiving an emergency call at 10.52am.
"Two vehicles from the fire station were rushed to the scene. Upon arriving, rescue works took place and we removed the victims who were stuck in the cars", they said.
Authorities also stated that those who passed on were a family of 4, father (32), mother (31), and two young boys (aged 3 and 4). The driver of the Hilux (27) suffered minimal injuries and was sent to HKL for treatment.
