NEW Tourist Attraction | Melaka spends an estimated RM8 million to build a brand new Theme Park - Taman Sigua!

Many tourists love to visit Malacca's famous attractions like Jonker Street, St. Paul's Church and Malacca River. And now Malacca has new attractions to visit!

Do you remember Pirate Park that has been closed for a long time due to equipment damage? Now Melaka will take this opportunity to renovate the existing "Pirate Park".

Perbadanan Pembangunan Sungai dan Pantai Melaka (PPSPM) announced that will spend an estimated RM8 million to build Taman Sigua. PPSPM Chief Executive Officer Datuk Murad Husin said "We are rebranding Taman Sigua which is synonymous with the image of lizards that are found in Sungai Melaka and it will be repaired starting this year.". He also believes that Taman Sigua as a new theme park will be more attractive to the tourists.

He further explained :"In the past, the Pirate Park used to be the theme of a game park, but Taman Sigua will be included as one of the points of the 'Melaka River Cruise' (MRC). Tourists can be enter and visit Taman Sigua.".
