In the early hours of Saturday, a tour bus ferrying 41 passengers collided with a trailer along the North-South Expressway near Gopeng, Perak. The accident, which occurred at around 4:03 a.m., resulted in minor injuries for four passengers, including three women and one child.
According to a spokesperson from the Perak Fire and Rescue Department, the bus was en route from Melaka to Kedah and was carrying a total of 33 women, three men, and five children. Fortunately, none of the passengers were trapped inside the vehicle, and all managed to exit safely after the incident.
According to The Star, the trailer driver involved in the collision was unharmed. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene to provide initial medical treatment to the injured passengers before they were transported to the nearest hospital for further care.
