No need to smother your entire hair in shampoo. Instead, the product goes on your crown & scalp first. Scrub for 3 mins or so. You want to really remove any sebum, dirt or build-up there.
Let the rest wash down through the length of your hair. Just 20 seconds are enough to massage the shampoo into your hair strands. Rinse with cold water.
3- Air-dry only

When walking out of the shower, don't reach for your blow-dryer! The heat will stress & dry out your roots. Imagine the damage you do every single time your hair's wet! Also, rubbing your hair dry with a towel is a bad move for your follicles.
The best thing you can do is to squeeze as much moisture out in the shower. Then, wrap a towel around your hair or let it air dry.
4- Brush from bottom to top

Never go the opposite direction cause' you'll end up with more tangles & knots. While you de-tangle the strands, there will be more breakage.
Instead, combine your hair ends & gently comb. Move your way upwards as you use your fingers to smooth through the strands.
Tip: Get a wide-toothed comb or detangling hair brush to do the work perfectly.
5- Let your hair down

But, putting your hair into high ponytails, blowout buns & tight braids for a long time will end up breaking your hair strands.
