At around 11am, the Fire and Rescue Department (BOMBA) in Kota Anggerik Shah Alam received an emergency call about a young man who was seen suspiciously trying to climb over and jump from a 10-meter-hugh flyover at Bukit Jelutong Lebuh Raya Guthrie.
According to the Director of the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department, the team arrived at the scene two minutes after receiving the call and found a young man in his 20s on top of the flyover.
After 10 minutes of persuading the young man while the Traffic Police managed to place a huge container lorry below the flyover near the man, he finally gave in and slowly climbed onto the container.
After further investigation, they were able to determine that the man was going through a breakup and was heartbroken by it.
The man was later surrendered to the police for further action.
