Exam halls have a certain aura to them. No matter how prepared you are, entering the exam hall will get your heart beating faster. To make things worse, what if you had a (toy) gun pointed to your head during the exam?
A few days ago, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kementerian Hukum dan Hak Asasi Manusia) in Jawa Timur, Indonesia was having an exam for public servants.
To the participants' surprise, 5 men dressed up in pink jumpsuit and a face mask (just like the officers in popular Netflix show 'Squid Game') appeared.
Turns out, they were the exam supervisors!
As the ministry had hoped, the participants did not feel scared, but welcomed the supervisors with roaring applause!
According to the ministry's Twitter feed and Indonesian news outlet Detik.com, the effort was to ease the tensions and nervousness among those sitting for the exams. One of the participants even said it made the exam more interesting.
