WATCH: Ford Ranger Driver Recklessly Crashes Into Abang Grab & His Family On Sungai Besi Expressway

This Grabfood delivery rider, accompanied by his wife and two children, faced a life-and-death situation when a Ford Ranger truck collided with them on the Sungai Besi Expressway.

The incident, captured by another car's dashcam, went viral on social media. The accident occurred when the Ford Ranger driver, travelling on the right side of the road, recklessly moved into the left lane to make an exit turn.

Instead of being mindful of other road users, the driver crashed into the family of four without hesitation and drove away. The family appeared shocked, and the Grab rider's daughter suffered a head injury with bloodstains on her headscarf.

Numerous passersby came to their aid, and in the footage, the same truck is seen parked at the top of the exit lane in the opposite direction, with the driver running to the scene in a panicked state.

Many netizens expressed anger at the driver's behaviour, considering the potential danger he posed with his reckless driving. However, some were relieved that he took responsibility and returned to the scene instead of fleeing.

As of now, it has been reported that the 21-year-old Ford Ranger driver has been arrested and will face charges at the Kuala Lumpur Traffic Court today.
