The owner of KK Mart, who was recently involved in the contentious socks matter, Datuk Seri Chai Kee Kan, was permitted to meet with His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia.
According to TheStar, In the fifteen-minute audience on Wednesday, April 3, Chai apologized to the King and all Muslims about the socks problem and asked for His Majesty's pardon.
In order to prevent the problem from happening again, His Majesty ordered that all parties including KK Mart must exercise greater caution while selling items, particularly those that are imported.
We all need to take greater responsibility. "I hope this is the last time I have to stress about this and don't let this incident happen again," he decreed to the Royal Press Office on Wednesday.
"At this point, I caution everyone involved not to capitalize on this situation by stirring up unrest among people."
He stated, "I do not want this issue prolonged any further," in a message published on Wednesday on the Facebook page of Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar.
