Petaling Jaya Police has arrested a 15-year-old teen for repeatedly stabbing 24-year-old his brother at an apartment in the Taman Putra Damai area, Kelana Jaya, yesterday. The fight is said to have escalated when the brother reprimanded the teen for riding his motorcycle without their sister's knowledge.

Petaling Jaya District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid said they received information regarding the incident through a phone call by one of the witnesses at about 12:08 PM yesterday.
The initial investigation revealed that there were three individuals involved in the incident. "The first victim, a 24-year-old who happens to be the suspect's brother, was found lying on the floor with wounds and bleeding on his left chest and abdomen." Mohamad Fakhrudin added.
"Meanwhile, the second victim, a 19-year-old, who is a friend of the first victim, was sitting in a chair with injuries on the back of his left body," he said in a statement here today. "According to the witness of the incident, the second victim tried to resolve the fight between the two brothers but was also hit by a folding knife held by the suspect.
"The suspect then threw the knife on the floor after both were injured and all the victims were taken to the University of Malaya Medical Center (UMMC) for treatment and are still in stable condition," he said.
The 15-year-old suspect was found to have had a previous criminal record under section 379 of the Penal Code and is currently not in school.
