Based on NST, civil servants may be receiving a big salary increase in 2025!
Come October this year, the budget for the 2025 financial year will be announced, and Unity Government spokesperson Fahmi Fadzil noted a salary increase of more than 13% via press conference.
This news was confirmed by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
"The Prime Minister's announcement today is very positive. I believe this is what the workers have been fighting for, and we should embrace it," he told reporters.
This will be the highest increase in nation history, allocating over over RM10 billion.
Sounds like it's been a long time coming if you ask us.
