Taking to Instagram earlier today (June 11th EST), pop singer Justin Bieber tells the world his diagnosis of Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, which has now caused him partial face paralysis.
Justin currently on tour, previously noted to have cancelled and postponed a few shows due to a disease. Many were frustrated, and he expressed his sadness and apologies for having to do it.
He also stated how the doctors have urged him to rest for the time being.
"This is pretty serious as you can see," Justin explained. "I wish this wasn't the case but obviously my body is telling me I have to slow down. I hope you guys understand and I'll be using this time to just rest and relax and get back to 100 percent so I can do what I was born to do."
The singer also talked about how this new diagnosis has made it difficult to eat, and move of his face.
Ramsay Hunt syndrome occurs when a shingles outbreak affects the facial nerve near one of your ears. Prompt treatment of the disease can reduce the risk of complications.
Many fans and celebrities alike have since sent him hope, love and prayers during this trying time.
