In response to the government's initiative to aid the less poor, several eateries have created their own versions of the Menu Rahmah.

A restaurant in Kedah recently went popular for providing 500 free meals with every Sunday through Friday from noon to 2 pm.

People can be seen dining at Ayam Bismi's "Rumah Makan Percuma" (RMP) restaurant in a video that recently went viral.

RMP was formed by Jaffri Ahmad and Mazlina Makaruddin to provide lunch to individuals of different races, religions, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

The idea to establish the RMP initiative was sparked after Jaffri returned to his homeland after performing Umrah in the Holy Land.

He witnessed many individuals providing free meals to pilgrims in Mecca, which inspired him to do the same here.

The cuisine served at this RMP changes every day, and typical dishes include white rice, chicken, several types of veggies, and water.

It is understood that the owner of RMP does not accept any donations in the form of money, on the other hand, if anyone wants to help, they can buy goods and donate some to them.
