A man's attempt to scam a driver by throwing himself onto an oncoming car has garnered widespread attention online.
The video was shared by the car owner himself on the DashCam Owners Malaysia Facebook page.
In the six-second video, the driver; Fairul Khalid, was seen passing through a traffic light intersection when a man walking on the side of the road suddenly leaped into the middle of the road.
The man nearly hit his car.
"Hilang lar kejap darah kat muka ," wrote Fairul in his post, sharing how shocked he was during the incident.
Meanwhile, netizens have been quick to share their reactions to the viral video, with many expressing shock and disbelief at the audacity of the man's attempt to scam the driver.
User Nazreen Hamid said; "He tried to claim the insurance, just like what happened overseas."
Another netizen Adre Adon said; "Maybe he tried to scam you. However, upon seeing the dashcam, he decided not to."
