Recently, a package delivery driver expressed their annoyance on Facebook after persistently receiving improper requests from clients.
With the post going viral, it has now been taken down. However, Malaysians were quick to react!
Many expressed their shock to see this happening here in Malaysia and multiple other riders came forward themselves, to share in the comments, requests that they have received too which were highly inappropriate and down right rude.
"By the way, I don't have a parcel to send, just want to give a 'sporting' rider a great b*****b," wrote one customer.
Ayus, a 34-year-old delivery driver, voiced his displeasure at receiving such unsuitable requests from clients in an interview with Harian Metro.
"Over the last month, I've gotten a few odd reservations. However, I usually accept the order and click the "report order" button as soon as I receive it.
He continues by saying that he believes it would be difficult for riders to make a living when there is a problem like this since delivery drivers, both male and female, are not safe. 
In the same post, another rider named Nisa, revealed that she too was on the verge of becoming a victim of these customers. However, it was in her luck that her husband went with her on the delivery trip.
She advised, "Drivers, especially female delivery drivers, be careful. If the booking was set to a strange location, don't accept the order, and if you have already accepted, just cancel it. It's for the best."
While speaking to SAYS, a Lalamove representative said that the platform forbids making improper requests and will look into the matter further.
Assuring the public that they will take any necessary actions to ensure their platform continues to be safe and reliable for Malaysians.
