Talking about the craziest surprise birthday party, an introvert's friend organized one of the most unforgettable birthday celebrations for him at the famous steamboat restaurant, Hai Di Lao in Penang.

It is well known that Hai Di Lao provides birthday celebration services by singing birthday songs to the birthday boy or girl and also giving them some free gifts. However, the video shared by a Facebook user has certainly changed our minds about what Hai Di Lao is capable of when it comes to giving surprises.

Starting off with a normal birthday celebration by Hai Di Lao staff, the man appears awkward and speechless, but he politely agrees to take photos with the signboard.

Little did he know that there was more to come. A loud noise suddenly breaks through the air, calling out his name and wishing him a happy birthday. He turns to look and finds two people holding up banners with his face on them.

Just when the birthday boy thinks that everything is over, the familiar sound of a lion dance starts and a mascot of "Chai-Shen-Ye" (the God of Fortune) and a lion dance enter. The lion dance even performed some impressive stunts for the birthday boy despite the limited space.

Although the introverted birthday boy looks extremely awkward and tries to hide his face, everyone else in the restaurant is certainly delighted by the vibes.

The banners with his face were then hung at the entrance before the friends and the birthday boy took a group photo with them.
