A woman has taken to social media to expose alleged unsanitary conditions at a local daycare centre.

The woman alleged that the daycare facility resorted to placing food in trash bags and serving meals in bowls marked with mouse bites.

Additionally, she claimed that her child had been hospitalised due to seizures, which she attributed to the caregiver's negligence.

While the child's health is reportedly improving, the woman said she made the decision not to send her child back to the daycare.

In response to the viral social media post, Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) issued a statement addressing the matter, as the implicated daycare centre is located in the Angkasapuri area.

"RTM is aware of viral social media uploads related to a daycare at the broadcasting station allegedly being poorly managed and lacking integrity. The daycare in question is situated in the Angkasapuri Kota Media area.

The statement added that RTM takes the matter seriously and is conducting a detailed investigation to gather complete information about the incident.

"Although the daycare is not under RTM's management, the department will not compromise with any irresponsible party in carrying out duties, especially when it involves the lives and well-being of children," the statement read.

In the comments section, netizens expressed their disappointment with the daycare's alleged disregard for cleanliness, highlighting the impact on the children who are the victims.
